something not quite right?
I offer a safe space to find out what might be affecting you. I am trained as a Humanistic (person-centred) counsellor and I will walk alongside you in order to help get to the root of any issues you might have.
We work together with what you bring into the room (in person, online or on the phone) and I’ll sit with you to maybe make sense of it and allow you to move in the direction you choose at a pace that suits you.
what’s the process?
I am able to offer you short-term help (between six and ten sessions) or open-ended therapy if you need time to explore yourself more.
I have experience working with depression and anxiety and can be with you to find your own way to manage or navigate through these.
I will send you an assessment form to complete ahead of our first session together in order to gather basic information - this will remain confidential at all times, and is stored in compliance with GDPR. If I feel I might be able to help, I will offer weekly or fortnightly sessions which are 50 minutes long. This is classed as a ‘counselling hour’ (see my blog page for more on this).
Please see separate section on this site for my availability.
